Nick Starkel Eliminates OSU From Final Choices
Nick Starkel released his final list of schools in consideration on Thursday, and the former OSU commit did not include the Cowboys in his options.
Starkel, a four-star quarterback from Argyle, Texas, announced he was decommitting from Oklahoma State last month to look at all his options.
He has offers from Texas A&M and UCLA most notably, along with Yale and North Texas. He released his final four options, which included those four schools and any other schools who may not have offered him a scholarship yet.

With both Kyler Murray and Kyle Allen gone from A&M, along with Ryan McCollum – a former OSU commit whose now committed to the Aggies – I would bank pretty hard on the Starkel to A&M train.
Regardless, it’s pretty strange to see the complete severance of whatever relationship the two parties (OSU and Starkel) may have had. Recruiting is a strange world, and perhaps the decision was a mutual one. Either way, I think the Cowboy coaching staff is very high on quarterback Keondre Wudtee and Devon Modster – two prospects who have both decommitted from their respective schools after receiving offers from the Pokes.
