QB Coleman Key Commits to OSU
Oklahoma State picked up a big commitment at the quarterback position on Thursday, with transfer quarterback Coleman Key – a Colorado State transfer and former Broken Arrow High School standout – announcing he will join the program.

There were reports from The Oklahoman that Key had reached out to OSU expressing interest to play closer to home, and those reports appear to be true with Key himself announcing the transfer is official via his twitter page.
Interestingly, Key also announced he plans to play both football AND baseball.
As a senior at Broken Arrow, Key passed for 2,628 yards and 29 touchdowns.
Key received a full release following his redshirt freshman year from Colorado State. Unless he is granted an NCAA waiver, he will not be eligible for the 2016 season.
He is a 6-foot-4, 220-pound quarterback who also brings more experience than a high school quarterback who may need development. He’s a fiery competitor with a big arm, who has an excellent ability to move within the pocket and escape pressure using his legs.
In Key, the Cowboys have a legitimate backup quarterback with Div. I experience. He’s a great coup for Mike Gundy and Co.
Check out highlights of Key from his senior season at Broken Arrow:
Edit: Key was granted full release but will not be eligible to play football this upcoming season. (6:52am)
