Could OSU be Eyeing LSU Transfer Receiver?
Oklahoma State signed two promising prospects in the 2016 recruiting class with in-state standout Dillon Stoner and Lancaster, Texas receiver Tyrell Alexander. But with the loss of veteran Brandon Sheperd and experienced talents Marcell Ateman and Jhajuan Seales nearing their completion of eligibility, the Cowboy coaching staff could be eyeing an experienced receiver to bring in via transfer.
Trey Quinn, a 2014 signee with LSU, announced recently he will transfer from the program. Quinn is a former four-star standout from Lake Charles, La., who was an Army All-American and ranked as the No. 184 overall prospect in 2014.
Quinn played in 14 games for the Tigers, recording 22 receptions for 276 total yards through his two year career in Baton Rouge. If social media is any indication, Quinn’s most recent follows include Arizona, Arizona State, and Duke coaches – along with OSU receivers coach Kasey Dunn.
