So who are the Wallace twins? Allow me to introduce you.
Tylan Wallace is a 6-foot, 180-pound receiver who has gained offers from Oklahoma, Oregon, Notre Dame, Michigan, and many others. He’s an Under Armour All-American, concensus four-star recruit, and one of the highest rated receiver commitments in the Mike Gundy era. The only higher rated receiver to sign with OSU? Dez Bryant in 2007.
Tracin Wallace is a 6-foot-1, 170-pound dual-threat quarterback, who was forced out of his junior season due to an ACL injury. He has offers from Virginia, Houston, Tulsa, Vandy, and others. Tracin is a versatile athlete who can also play safety, but may convert to wide receiver at the next level. So don’t be surprised if the Wallace duo ends up at the same position in Stillwater. Tracin has a really nice burst for a quarterback, and great size which would make his transition easier.
The Cowboys now have six total commitments in the 2017 recruiting class. The Wallace twins join defensive tackle Brendon Evers, linebacker Brendan Vaughn, offensive lineman Adrian Wolford, and safety Ty Thomas. The class is ranked No. 20 nationally by Scout.com.
