Top 100 Small Forward Diallo Will Visit Oklahoma State
Oklahoma State is expected to host ESPN top 100 prospect Alpha Diallo this weekend for an official recruiting visit, per Jeff Borzello of ESPN.
The 6-7, 195-pound versatile wing from Brewster Academy, N.H., is a full qualifier for the 2016 class, meaning he would be eligible to be a part of the team later this summer.
Although it’s somewhat late in the recruiting process with many top prospects already off the board as far as 2016 players, Diallo’s coach recently said he is “wide open in regard to his recruiting.”
Diallo has offers from Providence, Florida, Miami, South Carolina and many others.
Interestingly, Lamont Evans, one of Brad Underwood’s recent additions to his staff, was one of Diallo’s main recruiters at South Carolina. So the connection to Diallo is fairly seamless, and could be a big factor in his final decision.
He’ll be on campus this weekend at a great time, when many OSU fans will be in town to watch the spring football game on Saturday in Stillwater.
