Big 12 Expansion
Colorado State, Houston, Central Florida and Memphis are all writing letters to the Big 12 expansion committee. And FedEx is involved (which is definitely a big deal). [FedEx CEO Fred] Smith also wrote that FedEx would be prepared to sponsor a Big 12 championship game. [ESPN]
The problem here with splitting up good/bad teams is that those teams won’t always be good/bad. See: Baylor and Oklahoma State from the early 2000s. [CRFF]
