Four-star Combo Guard Names Oklahoma State in Top Schools
National top 125 recruit Brandon Rachal, a combo guard from Natchitoches, LA, has named Oklahoma State in his top 9 schools along with Tulane, Texas, Auburn, LSU, NC State, Stephen F. Austin, Texas A&M and VCU.
I want to thank all 27 schools that recruited me but after a lot of thought & prayer. My list is now at 9 schools.?? pic.twitter.com/VUmyVWX3GN

Rachal is a 6-6 guard and consensus four-star recruit, with 27 schools who seriously recruited him. And before his recruitment took off this spring, Oklahoma State was among the first schools to offer in April before eventually landing offers from the remaining schools on his list. And while OSU was one of the first to jump in on him, his social media account – along with the 247sports predictions – seem to have Texas all over it.
The 2017 prospect still has plenty of time to make a decision, and OSU has time to sway the rising Louisiana flyer. But at the moment, I wouldn’t get your hopes too high. Shaka Smart is working some magic potion down in Austin.
