Eddies Sutton On Brad Underwood: ‘He’ll Do a Great Job’
Oklahoma State basketball recently had an alumni event in which Brad Underwood spoke and Eddie Sutton attended. The photos from the event are pretty awesome. I posted one below. You can check out the rest here. Sutton spoke about Underwood and what he thinks of the new ball coach.
“I met him about six weeks ago, and I’ve really been impressed with him,” said Sutton. “I think he’ll do a great job, and I’m just really pleased that we were able to find someone like him.”
Sutton isn’t the only one who is excited. In OKC Dave’s preseason survey, Underwood’s disapproval rating was 0 percent. Compare that to Travis Ford’s of 75 percent (!) last year.
Underwood followed that up with a rousing speech about making Oklahoma State basketball great again. I will say, we aren’t going to lose any pregame speeches.
“I came here to win,” said Underwood. “Losing is not an option. We’ve told our players that from day one.”
Here’s the Sutton/Underwood photo op.
