Joe Burton Electing to Transfer to Valpo
It’s the week of transfer announcements for former OSU basketball players. Former point guard Tyree Griffin is reportedly headed to Southern Miss, and now former shooting guard Joe Burton has announced he will continue his career at Valparaiso:

The sophomore sharpshooter averaged 4.7 points per game last season and, similarly with Tyree Griffin, a new coaching regime and new talent being brought in were likely several factors in Burton’s decision to continue his career elsewhere.
Burton will sit out the upcoming season for Valpo and will be eligible to play two years.
