Former Five-Star Receiver Transferring from LSU, Seeks ‘More Wide Open Offense’
Former five-star receiver Tyron Johnson, who was headed into his sophomore season in Baton Rouge, has announced he will be transferring from Death Valley.

So you might be asking, what the heck does LSU have to do with OSU?
Johnson, one of the top receivers in the 2015 recruiting class, was seriously considering OSU and Texas Tech among his landing spots before deciding on LSU — and at one point had OSU in his final two.
According to his father, via The Advocate, his transfer revolves around the offense:
“He wanted to go to a more wide open offense,” Tyrone Johnson said in an interview with The Advocate on Thursday afternoon. “That was the only reason why.”

According to The Advocate article, Tyron Johnson is expected to make a decision on his next landing spot in “the next week.”
