Jeff Newberry to Play for Pistons D-League Affiliate
Former Oklahoma State guard Jeff Newberry has agreed to play for the Grand Rapids Drive, the Detroit Pistons’ D-League affiliate.

Newberry, who came to the Cowboys from New Mexico Junior College, was a key player in both his junior and senior season at OSU. The Atlanta, GA native averaged 10.8 points, 4.7 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.5 steals in his senior season.
According to Cowboys Ride for Free, Newberry also had offers to play in both Germany and Macedonia, but decided to stay in the states for a better chance of making it to the NBA.
