Mason Rudolph Sets Record But Only Worried About Big 12 Title

Mason Rudolph now holds the Oklahoma State single-game yardage record after his 540-yard show on Saturday against Pitt. He said after the game it was great but would have meant nothing without a win and that he was only concerned about winning a conference title.

“It felt a whole lot better than last week to come out with a win,” said Rudolph. “Any way you can get it feels great. We ran the ball for four touchdowns tonight, and that was huge. Continue to become more balanced as an offense.”

“[Brandon Weeden has] a Big 12 championship under his belt,” Rudolph added about breaking Weeden’s record by 38 yards. “That’s the only thing I’m worried about. I guess it’s cool, but it’s just a small piece of the puzzle.

Rudolph also reiterated (several times!) that he was proud of his running backs.

He also noted that there was plenty of time to join Ramon Richards for some meditation during the weather delay in the 4th quarter.
