Oklahoma State Moves Final Game of Central Michigan Series to 2022
The final game of the Central Michigan and Oklahoma State series is being moved back four years, according to Associate Athletic Director Kevin Klintworth:
Hate to be a juicy rumor killer but #okstate has not cancelled the final game of the CMU series. It's now set for 2022 instead of 2018.
— Kevin Klintworth (@KKlintworth) September 15, 2016
As you might recall, the Chippewas handed OSU an upset loss at Boone Pickens Stadium two weeks ago on a hail mary-lateral as a result of a MAC officiating error that awarded CMU an untimed down incorrectly.
For the current players on the roster young enough who would have had a shot at a rematch in 2018, I’m sure it’s disappointing. But maybe by the time 2022 rolls around, they will be able to put together a competent officiating crew that won’t botch the outcome of the game. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
