Two Oklahoma State Signees Named McDonald’s All-American Nominees
Two members of Oklahoma States 2017 basketball recruiting class have been nominated to compete in the prestigious McDonald’s All-American game, which will be played on March 29th in Chicago.
The first commitment of the Underwood era, Zach Dawson, is one. The Florida combo guard from South Miami is a 6-foot-3 prospect ranked as the 69th overall player in the 2017 class, according to ESPN. He picked OSU over offers from Louisville, Arizona, TCU, USC and a number of others.
The second OSU recruit on the list is the most recent verbal commitment of the class, Michigan point guard Amauri Hardy. Hardy is a 6-foot-2 sharpshooter from Farmington Hills, Mich. ESPN ranks him as the No. 96 prospect in the 2017 class.
Also of note on the list: 2017 point guard Trae Young, a Norman North prospect ranked 15th in the country by ESPN. As OSU puts its final touches on the 2017 recruiting class, Young appears to be the final target for Brad Underwood and his staff.
There are more than 100 nominees from across the country on the list. The final teams will be announced on Sunday at 9:30 p.m. on ESPNU. The full list of nominees can be found here.
