Minnesota Offensive Lineman Transfers to Oklahoma State
Oklahoma State has bolstered its depth along the offensive line, with the announcement on Wednesday that former Minnesota center Tyler Moore will transfer to OSU.
It’s been a long process dealing with transferring from the University of Minnesota,” Moore said on twitter. “I am glad to announce that it’s finally over. I am committing to the Oklahoma State University and I am enrolling this spring semester! I am excited for my future, I cannot wait to be on campus and work with Coach Gundy and Adkins.”
Minnesota controversially fired its head coach Tracy Claeys after one season as head coach, and hired #rowtheboat expert PJ Fleck away from Western Michigan.
Moore was a two-year starter for the Golden Gophers who made 20 consecutive starts at center, where OSU could use some help and experience outside Brad Lundblade.
He will sit out the 2017 season due to NCAA transfer rules and play in the 2018 football season, but will be on campus this week to enroll early and get to work.
