Oklahoma State head coach Mike Boynton had his introductory press conference on Monday afternoon, giving many OSU fans their first opportunity to hear him talk about the job. Social media was active throughout the entire conference. Here are the highlights:

Update: Mike Boynton is still crying. ???

Boynton says he's not sure his wife has ever seen him cry before. Not sure where that came from.

Y'all can hate him all you want but this job and opportunity clearly means something to Coach Boynton.

Impressive opening news conference from new #OkState coach Mike Boynton. Seems passionate, driven, and competitive.

This is why Boynton will recruit successfully. Recruits listen to the current players and these guys love him https://t.co/uATH34Dop8

Curious to see how Boynton does this next year. Seems like a passionate guy, cares about players, but so did Travis. Can he coach? Motivate?

Strong presser from Boynton. Players will run through a wall for him. Means little without right dudes, but it's clear why Holder was sold.

After all the doom and gloom. I feel confident this team is going to compete for championships. Boynton-Evans show. Time to work.

I know there are many who were upset at Holder's choice, but I'm all in on Mike Boynton as our head coach. Give this man a chance. #okstate

Mike Boynton is a year older than me. Buddy just went from $70k/year a couple years ago to $1M/year as the HC at OKState. Bruuuuuuh.
