Oklahoma Quarterback Arrested for Public Intoxication

True freshman quarterback Chris Robison was arrested and charged with public intoxication at 3:33 a.m. Sunday morning, according to police records. The former four-star prospect is an early enrollee who competed in Saturday’s spring football game with the Sooners, completing 3 of his 5 pass attempts for 49 yards and running for a touchdown.

Robison was also offered by Oklahoma State and Mike Yurcich during the recruiting process, but committed to the Sooners early in the process and never wavered on his commitment.

Robison is the second Oklahoma quarterback to be arrested this offseason. Starting quarterback and Heisman frontrunner Baker Mayfield was also arrested and charged with public intoxication earlier this spring in Fayetteville, Ark., along with citations for disorderly conduct and fleeing the scene.

Oklahoma defensive back Ronnie LaRue was also arrested along with Robison.
