NFL Draft: Blake Jarwin Signs as Undrafted Free Agent with Dallas Cowboys
Tight end Blake Jarwin was not among the 253 players taken by a team in the NFL Draft, but it did not take him long to find a home following the conclusion of the draft on Saturday. Fortunately for him, his new home isn’t far from his current one. He’s signed with the Dallas Cowboys as an undrafted free agent.

Jarwin joins an OSU Cowboy-heavy roster in Dallas, joining Dez Bryant and Dan Bailey, both Pro Bowl-caliber players at their respective positions. Jarwin’s signing, however, does not guarantee him a spot on the roster.
Also on the Dallas roster is future Hall of Fame tight end Jason Witten, former Oklahoma Sooner James Hanna, former Texas Longhorn Geoff Swaim, and former Baylor basketball player Rico Gathers, who is signed to a reserves/future contract.
As a senior for OSU last season, Jarwin caught 19 passes for 309 yards and 2 touchdowns — all career-highs for the new Cowboy — and finished his career with 616 receiving yards on 41 receptions.
