Davon Dillard Clarifies Confusing Instagram Post
Davon Dillard got on Instagram on Saturday and fired off this photo of himself with an interesting location. He has since removed the location, but here is the screenshot.
Obviously there was some speculation about whether Dillard was making a visit to Turncoat Underwood up in Champaign — how could there not be when he Instagramed a photo of only himself and that location?! — but Dillard later clarified.
I am not transferring ( please stop the nonsense and pointless tweets)

Normally I would side with rationale here, but there was a lot left open for interpretation with the first post. Apparently it’s nothing, though. Dillard actually grew up in Illinois and went to high school in Indiana so him being in that region makes some sense, but it was mildly disconcerting for a bit to see that specific locale.
Dillard was one of the biggest advocates for new Cowboys head coach Mike Boynton.
“A couple of the coaches that we have on staff already did a tremendous job,” Dillard said at the time. “Even though they wasn’t head coaches, I felt like they were good enough to step up and be in that position. And [Mike Holder] listened to me, and he got a good coach in Mike Boynton.”
