Philadelphia Eagles Sign Offensive Tackle Victor Salako
After being brought in this weekend for a tryout with the Philadelphia Eagles at their rookie minicamp, former OSU left tackle Victor Salako is walking away with a contract.
The team announced it waived quarterback Jerod Evans with an injury designation and signed Salako, who was one of 20 participants at the rookie minicamp tryout.
Salako, a 6-foot-6, 335-pound left tackle who protected Mason Rudolph’s blindside for two seasons, was a two-year starter for the Cowboys after transferring from UAB. He earned All-Big 12 Second Team honors and was a key piece of OSU’s revived running game in 2015 and 2016.
According to OwnersBox.com, Salako’s contract is for 3 years and worth $1.67 million.
