King of the Game Recap: OSU vs. Tulsa
Week one is officially in the books for Oklahoma State and for our King of the Game players!
Each week, we’ll recap our weekly game. Every player gets a point for a correct pick. We tally up the points each week and the player with the most points at the end of OSU’s season (bowl game included) wins! Wins what? Bragging rights.
Before we get to the individual scores, let’s recap the categories (you can see the original post here):
Bet Against the Spread: OSU (-17)
OSU easily beat the spread, pastingTulsa by 35 points, 59-24.
More Catches: Tulsa or James Washington
Tulsa had 20 total receptions, compared to only six for Washinton.
Over/Under +2.5 turnover margin for OSU: Under
OSU and TU both had two fumbles, so while OSU ended even, they certainly didn’t finish anywhere near the +2.5 mark.
King of the Game: Chad Whitener
Of the three options, Whitener, Ramon Richards, and Darrion Daniels, Whitener had the biggest overall impact on the game. He finished second on the team with seven tackles, including six solo. He also tacked on a quarterback hurry. Ramon had a nice performance, recording three tackles, and was all over the field. Daniels finished with two tackles including one tackle-for-a-loss.
So with that, let’s tally up the points for this week.

Bravo to our “picks from the enemy” expert Hunter Hart. He fared much better than his Golden Hurricanes. By the way, we’ll be looking for another player for the “fan picks.” If you’re interested, tell us why you should be picked in the comments section.
