Clint Chelf and Josh Stewart top Big 12 player props
OSU has never had a QB lead the Big 12 in passing TDs outright and yet it has a QB in 2013 that is the favorite.
Bovada released its college football player props on Monday and OSU was involved in a few. Let’s take a look.[1. If you need a refresher: -110 means you have to bet $110 to win $100 and +110 means you have to bet $100 to win $100.]
Most passing yards (Big 12)
Clint Chelf: -110
Clint Trickett: +110
David Ash: +150
Wow. I see that Vegas is confident in JW Walsh not being the starter. Wherever “Bryce Petty at +250” is, I’ll take it.

Clint Trickett: +110
David Ash: +150
Again, color me a little shocked. An OSU QB has never outright led the Big 12 in passing TDs[1. 2011: Weeden – 37, Bob – 37.] and now a dude who hasn’t even been named the starter is going to do it?
Most receiving yards (Big 12)
Brandon Carter: +400
Jalen Saunders: +400
Jaxon Shipley: +375
Josh Stewart: -150
Tyler Lockett: +425
I wonder what kind of odds you could have gotten on parlaying the entire Shipley family to lead the Big 12 in receiving yards at some point back in like 2005. Had to be like 400,000-1 and would have been a smart bet.
Your weekly reminder that Josh Stewart didn’t make the All-Big 12 first or second team last season.

Brandon Carter: +325
Jalen Saunders: +350
Jaxon Shipley: +250
Josh Stewart: +175
Tyler Lockett: +350
And the “oh wait, OSU has a LOT of receivers” inevitable correction.
I like Petty at whatever you can get him at (presumably higher than +150 and Carter at +400 for most receiving yards.
