Dez Bryant just turned 25, is historically great
Randy Moss, Gronk, John Jefferson, Dez, and Bob Hayes are your five most productive 24-year-old receivers…ever.
Dez Bryant’s birthday was Monday and he turned (I can’t believe I’m typing this) 25 years old.
He has more receiving TDs in the NFL already than all but 208 other humans who have walked the face of the earth but more importantly than that…he’s just now 25 years old.
How does his career through the age of 24 stack up all-time? You’re going to be pleased if you’re a Dez fan. Here’s a look at the 10 most-accomplished 24-year-olds in NFL history, ranked by TD catches:
Now ranked by yards:
How good was Randy Moss?! My gosh.
These are lists you want to be on if you’re Dez. He’s been everything we thought he would be through his first three years with the Cowboys (yes, including the meltdowns).
Even more interestingly here’s a list of the 10 most productive wide receivers ever through the age of 25:
Oh hey, Calvin. Dez has a real chance to move all the way up to No. 5 by the time this season is over and will have 16 more games total to catch the others (nobody catching Moss, y’all).
Everybody’s favorite debate topic is actually one of the more productive wide receivers ever for his age and, if he can hold it all together (the biggest if ever, I know) has a chance to go down as one of the all-timers.
