Alex Dieringer to Compete in New American Wrestling League
The American Wrestling League, a new “pro” amateur wrestling league, is set to make its debut November 30 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Here’s a quick promo explaining the debut event.
One of their slotted participants? Former Cowboy, three-time NCAA champion, and Hodge trophy winner Alex Dieringer.
Dubbed the “Greatest Wrestling Show on Earth”, the league will offer $2,500 to all participants and another $5,000 to the winner of each match.
They haven’t officially announced who Dieringer will be wrestling yet. One other wrestler listed on the roster is Kyle Dake. Dieringer and Dake are the Nos. 2 and 3 ranked wrestlers in the world at 79 KG currently.
