All-MAC Gadget Cade Wolford Announces Oklahoma State Offer
Wolford was a running back in 2024 and a wide receiver in 2025.
Good things have happened for Kent State when Cade Wolford gets the ball in his hands, no matter what position that’s in.
Wolford announced an Oklahoma State offer on Friday morning, and 247Sports’ Allen Trieu reports that he’ll be in Stillwater for a visit on Monday.

Listed as a 5-foot-10, 190-pound wide receiver in 2025, Wolford caught 19 passes for 509 yards (26.8 yards per catch!) and seven touchdowns while running for another 96 yards (averaging eight yards a carry) and a score. He was also used in the Kent State return game, bringing back five kicks for 53 yards. He was a member of the All-MAC Third Team.
Wolford redshirted as a running back in 2024, when in three games he had four carries for 10 yards.
He should still have three years of eligibility remaining.
Wolford is from Jackson, Ohio, which is in the southeast part of the state. He ran for more than 1,500 yards and had more than 2,200 yards of total offense as a senior to go with 32 touchdowns.
