The Oklahoma State women’s golf and soccer teams are crushing right now after solid weeks last week for both. Here’s a look at everything that’s going on outside of football and hoops right now.

Men’s Golf

The Paintbrush Invitational in Colorado has been canceled, but the golf team plans to add something to the schedule in the near future.

It’s no secret that Karsten Creek is one of the best college golf courses in the country. Here’s former Cowboy Morgan Hoffmann talking about what makes Karsten so special.

“I think the crowds … how big it felt in comparison,” said Hoffmann. “Each hole is so small, and there’s 1,000 or 5,000 people on each hole, especially on 18. It was amazing. It definitely got me ready for pro gold.”

Women’s Golf

The Cowgirl golf team has jumped into the top five this past week, with Maddie McCrary moving to No. 8 in individual rankings. OSU is currently 11-1 against top-25 teams, which is second-best in the country.

McCrary recently won the Windy City Collegiate Classic individual championship, making her the first Cowgirl to win an individual title since Kenzie Niesen won the Big 12 Championship in 2016. The Cowgirl team finished runner up to Arizona State.

Soccer

After losing 1-0 to West Virginia in Morgantown on Friday, the Cowgirls defeated Iowa State in a thrilling overtime match this past weekend, moving to 11-2-2 on the season and 4-1 in Big 12 play. Here’s a full recap.

“It’s never easy on the road,” said head coach Colin Carmichael. “I think our kids dug deep. It was never going to be an easy game. Our kids showed a lot of mental fortitude, a lot of character and a lot of fight to pull that out.”

 Softball

The Cowgirl offense was on full display in their 27-1 victory over southern Nazarene on Saturday, with 12 runs coming in the first three innings.

Tennis

Vladica Babic and Sofia Blanco upset the No. 1 ranked doubles team last week at the Riviera/ITA All-American Championships.

And OSU’s Julian Cash advanced to the round of 16 at the Saint Francis Health System ITA Men’s All-American Championships on Friday.
