Homecoming week might have been a down one for the Oklahoma State football team, but other OSU squads looked solid.

Here is at what OSU’s soccer, softball, cross-country and equestrian teams did this past week.

Cowgirl Soccer Atop Conference Standings

The OSU soccer team picked up a pair of wins in the past week and sits alone atop the Big 12 standings.

The Cowgirls beat West Virginia for the first time in program history Thursday night. OSU won 2-1 with goals from Kim Rodriguez and Grace Yochum.

OSU followed that with a 3-0 victory against Iowa State on Sunday. Yochum scored all three goals, giving her a team-high 11 on the year.

The 12-1-3 Cowgirls host Oklahoma at 7 p.m. Friday. The two teams played a nonconference game earlier in the year, where they drew 2-2.

Both Cross-Country Teams Finish 11th in Indiana

OSU’s men’s and women’s cross-country teams competed at the Pre-National Invitational in Terre Haute, Indiana this weekend.

Both squads finished 11th. Isai Rodriguez was the Cowboys’ top-placer, finishing third. He ran the men’s 8K in 23:23.8.

In the women’s 6K, Molly Born and Taylor Somers finished a few seconds apart. Born finished in eighth at 20:24.6, and Somers finished ninth at 20:26.1.

Up next for the two teams is the Big 12 Championship on Nov. 2 in Waco.

OSU Softball Remains Unbeaten in Fall After Dominating CCCC

The Cowgirls beat Cowley County Community College 19-2 on Wednesday in Stillwater to advance to 6-0 this fall.

The 10-inning game saw OSU have 22 hits and five home runs. Six Cowgirls had multiple RBI games. Kiley Noami and Taylor Tuck each had three RBIs.

The Cowgirls host Seminole State on Wednesday in their penultimate fall game of the year.

OSU Equestrian Tops Defending Big 12 Champ Baylor

Cowgirl Equestrian hosted defending Big 12 champ Baylor at Totusek Arena on Friday.

OSU defeated the Bears 11-5. Up next for the Cowgirls is a California road trip. OSU faces Fresno State on Friday and UC-Davis on Saturday.
