Best of Social Media: Bedlam Frustration at All-Time High in 48-47 Loss
All the best from across your timeline on a crazy Bedlam Saturday.
Social Media was on fire before, during and after the in-state rivalry game in Norman today. Let’s get caught up.
Pre-Game in Norman
It ain’t happening, Porter.

Pretty full stadium for a matchup against a 5-4 team….
Bedlam attendance: 87,635. Third largest attendance in Owen Field history. #Sooners #okstate

The first-half was all about the offense. It was a back-and-forth affair, and anytime either team forced a field goal attempt, it felt like a victory for the defense.

I laughed.
My one hope is Mike Stoops and Glenn Spencer are watching this game over some beers. #Bedlam

Corn looked great on some throws, poor on some others in first half. Margin for error was 0 in this afternoon’s matchup.
#okstate The burden on Taylor Cornelius is beyond heavy. It's unfair. For OSU to have even a slight chance here, he has to be perfect. His defense gives up 10 yards per play and his kicker fails to convert for the fifth time in his last six FG attempts.

Pokes went into the half down 34-28. On to the second half.
Second Half Action
Pokes struck first and took a lead thanks to this snag from Stoner.

A missed extra point that would’ve given OSU a 42-41 lead was untimely.
Knowing what I know about this game and #okstate's history with it, I feel confident saying that missed extra point definitely won't come back to haunt them.

The lone turnover of the game came at an unfortunate time. More importantly, glad Chuba was able to get back up after those hits.
Wow, first turnover of the day is a massive one.

When you play OSU, defenses don’t shout “Watch the Sticks” on 3rd and short, they just say “Watch the deep ball” every play.
3RD AND TWO
Normal teams: don’t give up 2 yards
OU: we will not give up the 40 yard bomb pic.twitter.com/dvaX2RRVqG

4th and 12 with just about a minute left and your QB hits your best WR for six. Love it.

On the next play, Pokes failed on a two-point conversion that would’ve given them the lead. Similar look to last week’s failed 4th and 3 play.
Gundy in Sept. — Corn should never throw rolling to the right.
Gundy in November — Rolls Corn to the right to throw with two straight games on the line.

Gundy made the call to go for two — he don’t care what anybody think.
Gundy was asked if the players were on board with going for two at the end of the game. “I don’t give a sh** what they think.” ? pic.twitter.com/tJWY7EjfLx

Love the call. Go for 2 every time. WR was open sometimes it doesn’t work out.

The Pokes may struggle to close in Bedlam affairs, but man we have had some great ones the last few years.
Spare me the overall record talk and the this isn’t a rivalry talk from ou fans. This below average rebuilding okstate team just went blow for blow with the sooners in their own house. Stuff like that only happens in rivalries. Proud of those athletes today!
— Trey Cobb (@cobber_22) November 11, 2018
Lots of first downs for OSU. The Pokes ended with 39!
Oklahoma State now has 34 first downs. Thirty-four.
