Best of Social Media: Pokes Face Highs and Lows as they down S. Alabama 55-13
Oklahoma State took down South Alabama tonight 55-13, in a sloppy and potentially concerning affair heading into a true test against Boise State in Stillwater next Saturday.
Despite some errors here and there, the Cowboys had plenty noteworthy performers discussed on social media, so lets check out the best of social media from Saturday’s battle with the Jaguars.
Pregame
This pregame shot had me crossing my fingers for a Patriot Pete helmet. But the #uniwatch turned in different direction (see below).
Happy gameday #okstate fans! It’s not photoshopped and it’s not today’s lid, but who would like to see @CowboyFB wear this tribute to #exce11ence? #golfschool pic.twitter.com/jRjogysZLB

Pokes went with the black-black-grey color combo tonight, with the barbed-wire helmet and the badge logo. The black tops always look great in a night game.

Sweet look at BPS here from Boone. 15 minutes before kick.

Lets Get to the Action
Look. I’m not pretending they are on-par with Washington and Ateman, but Johnson and Wallace are an incredible duo on either end of the field at wide-out. They can both go up and make a play on the ball and take a short pass to the house at any time.
WATCH: Cornelius to Johnson and Wallace takes #OKState 71 yards and into the end zone in just 23 seconds!

Early on the Pokes lost Edison-McGruder due to a targeting penalty, and the same thing cost Logan Carter the second half of the game against USA. Carter will also miss the first half against Boise next week.
#OKState has two players ejected for targeting in the same game. Tight end Logan Carter will miss the first half of the Boise State game.

I’ve gotta agree with Mr. Keating below. A blocked punt, a penalty negating a USA 4th & 13, and a few missed fielded punts were enough to make special teams frightening sight. Stoner did have a solid punt return towards the end of the game, so I’ll give them that.
What also stinks: Oklahoma State special teams. Which is no different than many seasons in a row.

Devin Harper had a HUGE pick six in the second half to give the defense a spark.

Not gonna lie, I was in the #Where’sJustice? camp for a large chunk of the game. But this is a good reminder.
Hey, Twitter, Justice Hill is fine. #OKState trying to limit his carries against lower-level opponents. Win, and save his carries when you've got bigger fish to fry.

In case you forgot, Chuba Hubbard is very fast.

Gundy’s Thoughts on Cornelius.
Gundy on Taylor Cornelius: “He was a lot better tonight.” Said he thought the first interception hit the ground. #okstate

Gundy don’t need no visor.
This dude just asked Gundy for his visor after the game, and Gundy gave it to him before flipping his mullet toward the camera. Legend. pic.twitter.com/InyMwcUO5C
