Boise State Starting Cornerback Tyler Horton Ruled out for OSU Game
Boise State will be without one of its defensive playmakers.
STILLWATER — Minutes ahead of OSU’s 2:30 kickoff on Saturday, the Cowboys have already gotten a big break in the way of injuries.
It was announced roughly 30 minutes before game time that Boise State starting cornerback Tyler Horton, an All-Mountain West caliber player who is the team’s most reliable lockdown option on the outside, will miss the game after suffering an injury last week.
Big news from Stillwater: Boise State's All-MW senior cornerback Tyler Horton is out for today's game against Oklahoma State. Had undisclosed injury against UConn last week.

Through two games this season, Horton had racked up eight tackles, two fumble recoveries and two touchdowns for the Broncos. His absence could give OSU’s starting receivers more breathing room as it stretches a thin Boise defense, and give inexperienced QB Taylor Cornelius bigger windows to throw into as he looks to take down his first ranked foe as the team’s starter.
