The fine folks at EA Sports have woken up to the glory that is Boone Pickens Stadium.

Oklahoma State’s stadium was listed 23rd on the Toughest Places to Play in the upcoming NCAA Football 26. BPS was off the initial top 25 when the game returned to shelves last year, but even after a year in which the Cowboys went 2-4 between Boone Pickens Stadium’s tight sidelines, OSU still made the cut this year. Here’s the full list:

Stadium Team
1 Tiger Stadium LSU
2 Beaver Stadium Penn State
3 Ohio Stadium Ohio State
4 Sanford Stadium Georgia
5 Bryant-Denny Stadium Alabama
6 Memorial Stadium Clemson
7 Ben Hill Griffin Stadium Florida
8 Gaylord Family-Oklahoma Memorial Stadium Oklahoma
9 Autzen Stadium Oregon
10 Michigan Stadium Michigan
11 Kyle Field Texas A&M
12 Neyland Stadium Tennessee
13 Darrell K Royal Texas Memorial Stadium Texas
14 Doak S. Campbell Stadium Florida State
15 Camp Randall Stadium Wisconsin
16 Williams-Brice Stadium South Carolina
17 Jordan-Hare Stadium Auburn
18 Husky Stadium Washington
19 Kinnick Stadium Iowa
20 Rice-Eccles Stadium Utah
21 Notre Dame Stadium Notre Dame
22 Carter-Finley Stadium NC State
23 Boone Pickens Stadium Oklahoma State
24 Spartan Stadium Michigan State
25 Davis Wade Stadium
Mississippi State

BPS is one of two Big 12 stadiums to make the list, joining Utah’s Rice Eccles Stadium (No. 20). To no one’s surprise, the SEC and Big Ten are all over this list. The SEC has 11 of the toughest place to play, according to EA Sports, while the Big Ten has eight. The ACC had three, and then there was independent Notre Dame.

Across the past 10 seasons, OSU has gone 48-17 in BPS. The 2024 season was an anomaly in a lot of ways for the Cowboys, including protecting their home turf. It was the first time since 2001 (before it was even called Boone Pickens Stadium) that the Cowboys were below .500 in home games.

College Football 26 releases worldwide on July 10. Meanwhile the real-life Cowboys will take to Boone Pickens Stadium on Aug. 28 for a game against UT-Martin.
