Brennan Presley Named to Biletnikoff Preseason Watch List
Could OSU win its fourth Biletnikoff this season.
Oklahoma State has a trio of Biletnikoff Awards since the trophy started getting handed out in 1994, and the Pokes are off to a good start at obtaining trophy No. 4.
Brennan Presley was named to the Biletnikoff’s preseason watch list on Monday. The Biletnikoff is given to the best receiver in college football. James Washington won the award in 2017, and Justin Blackmon took home the hardware in 2010 and 2011. There is a firm argument to be made that Tylan Wallace should’ve won the award in 2018.
A 5-foot-8, 175-pound senior, Presley has caught 124 passes for 1,557 yards and 10 touchdowns in three seasons with the Cowboys. As a junior last season, he had 67 catches for 813 yards and a pair of scores.
It adds to the preseason accolades for the versatile Bixby slot receiver. Presley was named to the Preseason All-Big 12 team. He is also on the preseason watch list for the Paul Hornung Award (given to the most versatile player in college football) and the Wuerffel Award (given to college football’s most impactful leaders in community service).
Speaking to Presley’s versatility, he also has a trio of rushing touchdowns and 1,003 total return yards. That includes a 100-yard house call in 2021 Bedlam.
