C.J. Moore Sounds Like He Was Leaning Towards OSU for a While
The biggest news of this week — other than Mike Holder hiring his likely successor — was Union wide receiver C.J. Moore committing to Oklahoma State. Moore is now one of the jewels of the 2018 Cowboy class, and he spoke recently about why he chose Stillwater.
“Coach Dunn is an amazing guy,” said Moore. “He’s an amazing coach. He’s a mentor. They’re family. It’s close to home. My sister is pregnant so whenever she has her baby I can be there. My room is actually orange, and it says ‘OSU’ on the wall so I’ve been thinking about OSU for quite a while.”
Moore also had offers from Alabama, Ohio State and Ole Miss.
Dunn has been crushing since he got to Stillwater in 2011 after coaching the receivers at Southern Miss before that. His recruits include James Washington, Marcell Ateman, Chris Lacy, Jhajuan Seales, Jalen McCleskey and Dillon Stoner.
Add Moore to what has become a long list of tremendous playmakers, and the WR train in Stillwater seemingly keeps on rolling.
