Chris Carson Nearing Return from Injury
Oklahoma State’s leading rusher from a year ago could be back on the field soon after suffering a hand injury earlier this season on September 10 against Central Michigan.
Mike Gundy addressed Carson’s injury status in his press conference this week, saying that he should be back the next game after Iowa State, which would be against Kansas on Oct. 22. The Cowboys have a bye next weekend.
Carson suffered an injury to his left hand and had his soft cast removed today, according to a reliable source. He now has 18 days to rehab and gain back a good feel at full strength to be ready to go when the Pokes travel to Lawrence.
