Cowboys Don Cursive Cowboys, Tri-Color Combo for Fiesta Bowl vs. Notre Dame
OSU looks to go 6-0 in cursive.
When the Cowboys trot out onto the turf in State Farm Stadium, they’ll be doing so in style.
Oklahoma State is wearing a tri-color, Black-White-Orange uniform combination for its Fiesta Bowl matchup with Notre Dame. To top it off, OSU will wear a modern classic, its Classic Cowboys helmet in black, with a nice new addition: an orange facemask.
OSU debuted the black Script lid in Bedlam this year. We first saw Cursive Cowboys look in white last season at Kansas State and OSU wore it again this season in Lubbock. The Cowboys sported an orange version of that script lid against Baylor in 2020 and against West Virginia earlier this year. That makes OSU 5-0 in this font.
OSU is 5-4 all-time in B-W-O but undefeated while bowling in a tri-color kit. The Cowboys thumped Colorado in the Alamo Bowl in 2016 sporting this color scheme with the black barbed wire lid.
