STILLWATER — Oklahoma State coach Steve Lutz will begin his second season with six consecutive home games in a 19-day stretch.

The Cowboys open the season on Tuesday, Nov. 4 against in-state foe Oral Roberts before hosting a marquee nonconference opponent in Texas A&M on Sunday, Nov. 9. This will be Texas A&M’s first game at GIA in 13 years. The Aggies were a No. 4 seed in the NCAA Tournament last year and finished in the round of 32.

Two of Oklahoma State’s other nonconference opponents earned NCAA invites last year only to fall in the first round. Oklahoma made it as a No. 9 seed while Grand Canyon appeared as a No. 13 seed. The Cowboys face those teams in the Paycom Center on Dec. 13 and in PHX Arena on Dec. 6, respectively. Those three games against former NCAA Tournament teams are the only nonconference games for OSU taking place outside of GIA.

Other highlights from the nonconference schedule includes a Thanksgiving Day matchup with Northwestern in Chicago and a home game against A&M-Corpus Christi on Nov. 16. Lutz led the Islanders to the NCAA Tournament in 2022 and 2023.
