Cowboys Pick up Commitment from 3-Star DB Gabe Lemons
The Cowboys received a commitment from three-star prospect Gabe Lemons from Coppell (Tex.) High School.
I am beyond thankful to announce that I have decided to commit to play football at OSU #cowboyup18 @CoachTimDuffie @CowboyFB @CoachGundy pic.twitter.com/gmIx3c35qE

The announcement comes on the heels of an unofficial visit to Stillwater and a reported offer by the Cowboys on June 7. Lemons also holds offers from the likes of Air Force, Illinois, Indiana and Rice.
According to his HUDL profile, Lemons was clocked at a 4.52 40-yard dash and plays both wide receiver and cornerback for Coppell HS.
As a junior last season, Lemons racked up 616 yards, 43 receptions and 7 touchdowns at receiver. But PFB has been told OSU is offering him as a cornerback. At 6 foot 2, Lemons definitely fits into the rangy category the Cowboys have been steering towards for their cover men.
This commitment makes the Cowboys’ 15th for the 2018 recruiting class and the first designated as a defensive back.
