Cowgirl Basketball: Lindenwood Transfer Ellie Brueggemann Commits to Oklahoma State
Brueggemann is a Lincoln Christian grad.
Jacie Hoyt has picked up a second player from the transfer portal, and this one is returning to her home state.
Lindenwood transfer Ellie Brueggemann announced her commitment to Oklahoma State on Friday. A 5-foot-11 guard, Brueggemann is a Lincoln Christian grad.
She’s averaged double figures for the Lions the past three seasons. As a junior this past season, Brueggemann averaged 14 points, 2.6 boards and 3.1 assists a contest while shooting a career-best 44% from 3 on 6.6 attempts per game.

Brueggemann also had interest from Iowa, where she reportedly visited before electing to be a Cowgirl under Hoyt.
She scored in double figures in 26 of the 33 games she played in this past season, including a quartet of outings in the 20s. Brueggemann also appears capable of doing a little bit of everything. She had at least four rebounds in eight games, at least five assists in eight games and multiple steals in eight games.
This marks the second transfer Hoyt has added after essentially having to build her roster from the ground up, as only Stailee Heard is set to return. Along with Brueggemann, OSU picked up a commitment from Fort Hays State transfer Talexa Weeter, the reigning D-II Player of the Year.
