Cowgirl Hoops: OSU Lands 2026 Belgium Star Annie Kibedi
Kibedi has been called “a walking bucket.”
The Cowgirls just landed one of the top talents in all of Europe.
Annie Kibedi announced her commitment to Oklahoma State via her Instagram account on Saturday. She’s one of the top scorers in the world and “a walking bucket” according to those in the know.

The 6-foot-2, 17-year-old put on a clinic at the FIBA U18 EuroBasket this summer, averaging 11.7 points, 8.8 rebounds and 3.8 assists a game for Belgium. She was tabbed as one of 10 players to watch at the event after she led the U16 event in 2024, averaging 20.7 points including outings of 36 and 35 points, respectively.
She can fill up a box score and is apparently nearly unguardable with her back to the basket. Ultimately, her Belgium team was upset in the semifinals by Finland.
Jacie Hoyt continues to make big moves on the recruiting trail. She’s done a great job of building a 2025-26 roster around returning All-American Stailee Heard. Now she’s got a potential star to build around in 2026.
