OSU Bullets

• Here’s how Cade Cunningham compares to All-NBA guard Luka Doncic

• Bill Haisten called attention before the spring game to the transfers on offense as the reason for Gundy’s optimism

• I missed this last week – Mike Gundy had a great comp for Dillon Stoner: recently retired New England Patriot Julian Edelman.

On Tuesday, coach Mike Gundy compared former Oklahoma State wide receiver Dillon Stoner to Julian Edelman ahead of the NFL Draft on April 29.

“He’s that type of player,” Gundy said. “He can do all the different things like (Edelman) could and he’s going to run (fast).”

• Kind of a wild note – Mike Gundy contracted COVID-19 in December

Barry Sanders was noted as the greatest No. 3 pick in the NFL Draft of all time

• “Best spring practice” comment is a close cousin to the perennial remark coaches make along the lines of “we feel great about our team this spring”

That being said, it feels significant given that it’s hard to recall him making a similar remark

• It was fun to see some of the X’s and O’s behind Boynton’s offense:

Terrific piece on “boomers and stickers” pulling from one of my favorite shows – Friday Night Lights

• Berry T. takes a stab at new naming rights for the OKC Arena – I like this take:

Sign me up for a Chickasaw Garden or a Choctaw Coliseum or a Cherokee Center.

• Like this take on ambition vs. entitlement:

“Ambition is when you close the gap between your circumstances and your expectations.
Entitlement is when you expect others to close the gap between your circumstances and your expectations.”
