Daily Bullets (Apr. 4): Potential QB Commit, Pokes Start a Series Right

Thanks for stopping by – here’s your daily dose of Oklahoma State sports news.

Three Thoughts

• Commitment watch today – a quarterback that OSU offered will make his commitment (somewhere) today. When Eric Morris lands his quarterback, it’ll be interesting given his track record (247 Sports)

• Great Friday for the Pokes, seeing a rally come up aces and the Pokes getting game one from Cinci, 12-9 (PFB)

Fascinated to see how this executive order impacts college sports – if a player has transferred multiple times, are they ineligible? Starting 8/1, can players transfer just one more time? (ESPN)

The order states that college athletes can play for “no more than a five-year period” and allows them to transfer schools only once before they graduate without having to sit out a season. The rule changes are scheduled to go into effect Aug. 1. A school that plays an athlete who doesn’t meet these new limits could risk losing its federal funding. [ESPN]

Two Quotes

• It’ll be fun to watch these two aces over the spring:

• Looks like the Cowgirls made the Elite Eight of equestrian:

One Question

•  Who was the last Cowboy Baseball or Cowgirl Softball player you just loved watching?

Non-OSU Bullets

• How AI helped two guys build a $1.8B business on their own • Easter reflection – two very different “take and eat”s (faith-based)
