Daily Bullets (Aug. 12): Gundy Updates from Camp, A Freshman to Keep an Eye On
Thanks for stopping by – here’s your daily dose of Oklahoma State sports news.
OSU Bullets
• Mike Gundy had some updates through early in fall camp on Saturday – you can see the video interviews here (PFB)
• Analyst Phil Steele projects OSU as a top-ten offense (X)
• A young defensive back has been making plays in fall camp:
One of those players that stood out, according to multiple players, was freshman safety David Kabongo. The Trophy Club, Texas native got to campus in January and has learned the defense quickly. “He’s a fast learner for sure,” safety Cameron Epps said of Kabongo Saturday. “I feel like he wants to be good. He capitalizes on the plays that come to him. I think he’s going to be a good player.” [GoPokes 247]
• CFB takes here – Utah’s Kyle Whittingham says big change is coming in “20 months to four years” , CBS Sports’ analyst says that’s too soon (HCs)
