OSU Bullets

•  The OSU Football tradition of climbing from unranked into the top 25 (TulsaWorld)

• Pokes are picked to finish with 5.5 games, and there’s no one else picked for less (PFB)

•  ProFootballFocus evaluated the Cowboy Football team and came out with this conclusion:

Oklahoma State’s defense was the far bigger issue, though, finishing as the third-lowest-graded unit in the Power Four (63.0). That looks like it’ll remain an issue in 2025, plus the Cowboys are breaking in a brand-new quarterback on offense. The one bright spot on that side of the ball is a couple of pretty good options to replace Gordon’s production at running back. [PFF]

• You’ll be shocked to hear pundits predicting OSU’s first loss will be in Eugene during nonconference play (CBS Sports)

Another Big 12 rule change, this one clearly targets Texas Tech (X)

• Solid thoughts from the NIU coach on transfer portal/college football:

Non-OSU Bullets

• McDonald’s has released an adult happy meal

• Ranking places to be with a child that doesn’t want to be there
