OSU Bullets

• Check out the findings from OKC Dave’s annual OSU fan survey (PFB)

•  Cowgirl Soccer got their first win of the season last night, shutting out SFA 3-0 (OKState.com) • GoPokes 247 pulled some intel from Saturday’s football scrimmage and gave insight on the offense/defense breakdown:

As has been written before, the defense is in nearly full rebuild mode, as opposed to the offense, which had so many key pieces in place in the transition from North Texas. So the defense has its hands full against this offense in a scrimmage setting currently. Still, the defense had its bright spots, and reason for hope going forward. [GoPokes 247]

• Some college football execs/coaches have Drew Mestemaker as one of the most overrated players in the country – namely because he’s not proven (CBS Sports0

• This is kind of funny – seeing the strangest teams Big 12 teams have ever played. OSU’s loss came in the days before pro sports were fully evolved, like when Bob Kurland played for the Phillips Petroleum team.

Non-OSU Bullets

• How all dogs are related (video) • Saw a couple of movies this weekend (Odyssey and Brink of War) – not a movie critic, Odyssey was super engaging, thought provoking, Brink of War was great Cold War intel for someone who didn’t live through it. It was super interesting to see how the two leaders engaged.

“Who is initiating the items on your to-do list? When I’m most productive, I decide what I want to create and work on the task that will help build my vision. When I am less productive, I spend my day responding to what someone else sends to me — emails, texts, etc. — and often that means I end up building someone else’s vision.” James Clear
