Mike Gundy’s mullet is going to be part of OSU’s uniforms. [PFB]

Mike Gundy on QB2 Taylor Cornelius: “I feel like he understands the offense, but like most teams in the country, you’re always concerned if you lose a guy at that position. The teaching, the coaching, the development up to this point, I’m comfortable with.” [NewsOK]

Mike Gundy has his own app. What a world. [PFB]

Gundy: “When I go home on Saturday nights and I’m watching games and I see that, it gets my attention. When I see 60- 70- 80,000 people screaming and they’re all shaking their pom-poms the same color, to me, that’s impressive. I think that’s the direction we need to go in here at Oklahoma State.” [O’Colly]

This from Gundy on the offensive line does not sound great! “We have a plan, and I like our plan, but I don’t have the confidence I had in J.W. We could be better, but I haven’t seen it.” [NewsOK]

Recruiting News

Mississippi State offered Tramonda Moore. [PFB]

The problem with Houston to the B12: “The advantage they have is location,” an Oklahoma State assistant said. “I think it does give them a leg up on the local talent, but like the coaches at TCU will tell you, you’d think they’d have a leg up on most of the Metroplex talent, but you can still go in there and pluck away some guys. It’s a battle, but you can do it if. I think for places like Oklahoma State, it would make it a lot tougher to recruit in Houston, just because the distance between Stillwater and Houston, and now they’d have a Big 12 option in their backyard.” [ESPN – $]

Justice Hill, starting RB?

Robert Allen: “Five running backs are all in the mix. I personally have seen all five run at least a few plays with the first team offense this week. My opinion is right now I would start the freshman, but I’m not a coach and there is always some concern with starting a freshman at any position.” [Go Pokes – $]

Mike Yurcich: “I think Justice sees himself as a big-time college football player. So it’s not like when he got here and started having success, it got to him. That’s how he perceives himself. That’s good.” [NewsOK]

Sam Aldrich discussed whether Hill could start here. I think he maybe could which is insane. [PFB]

Vincent Taylor: “Our whole defense has noticed him. He’s a freshman, but the way he runs the ball you’d think he’s been in our program a lot longer.”
