OSU Bullets

The simplest explanation for the Pokes losing to a top-15 Houston squad last night: The Pokes went ice cold at home. Steve Lutz called it out postgame:

“With that being said, you can’t miss 20 layups or 18 layups or whatever we missed in any game, much less a Big 12 game against the No. 13 team in the country, and expect to win.”

• This one slipped by me last week – it appears OSU is bringing in a Big Ten receiver (247 Sports)

• Great point here by Marshall Scott to highlight what the Cowboys emphasized in the transfer portal:

Whether it was through the portal or the junior college ranks, OSU made it a point to bolster four position groups specifically: tight end, offensive line, defensive line and defensive backs. Those four position groups account for 18 transfers into the program.
