OSU Bullets
• A fun weekend in OSU athletics – with the Cowboys’ win over No. 15 TCU (PFB) and Cowgirls’ win over TCU (TulsaWorld) and the wrestling team took home two (!) top-ten wins over No. 6 Michigan on Friday (PFB) and over No. 8 Missouri yesterday (PFB)
• As unheralded as OSU’s football recruiting might seem, ESPN narrowed the Pokes out of a crowd as one of the best out-of-state Texas recruiters (ESPN+ $$$)
• Bill Haisten processes the new schedule for the Pokes – it’s probably fair that the schedule looks a little more TU than OSU with these new teams (TulsaWorld)
• ICYMI – this was a huge coup for Cowgirl Softball with ace pitcher Kelly Maxwell sticking around for two more years (PFB)
• Pokes are one spot behind the mass of K-State/Baylor/Kansas/TCU for third in the league – Mike Boynton’s squad is in the thick of it
• Where you would put Tyler Lacy in Gundy-era defensive linemen? Seems like he’ll settle into the Vincent Taylor range – impact college player that makes a living playing football
Non-OSU Bullets
• The people who live inside airplanes
• The joy of bearing other’s failings (faith-based)
