โ€ข Kind of an interesting Big 12-related update – the Big 12 has the fifth-best conference record during the CFP era but they’re weighed down by OU and Texas’ records:

The Big 12 has a tendency to really fluctuate in the postseasonย year by year, which likely explains its even .500 record in bowl games since the start of the College Football Playoff era. In the past three years combined, the Big 12 is 11-16 (.407) in bowl games. However, four of those losses came from former membersย Oklahomaย and Texas. The Big 12 enjoyed a strong two-year stretch in 2020 and 2021, going 10-2 overall in the postseason.
