Men’s Basketball: Arizona 92, Pokes 78

• Arizona holds on to beat the Pokes in their first trip to Gallagher-Iba Arena (PFB)

• A “National Duals Invitational” will now take place in November with the Pokes hosting in Tulsa and a million dollars on the line (PFB)

• Cowgirls welcome a top-ten TCU squad to Gallagher-Iba tonight (PFB)

• Kind of an interesting Big 12-related update – the Big 12 has the fifth-best conference record during the CFP era but they’re weighed down by OU and Texas’ records:

The Big 12 has a tendency to really fluctuate in the postseason year by year, which likely explains its even .500 record in bowl games since the start of the College Football Playoff era. In the past three years combined, the Big 12 is 11-16 (.407) in bowl games. However, four of those losses came from former members Oklahoma and Texas. The Big 12 enjoyed a strong two-year stretch in 2020 and 2021, going 10-2 overall in the postseason.
