Three Thoughts

OSU landed a commitment from a DFW edge rusher yesterday who had some pretty real offers (PFB)

• Love having one of the ten winningest active football coaches leading the program in Stillwater (247 Sports)

• We can talk about offensive line play and Kasey Dunn figuring it out but the ultimate eraser and makings of a contender in the Big 12 are a top-flight quarterback filling the gaps.

Despite not making much of an impact in his two seasons at Michigan, Alan Bowman gives Oklahoma State a true gunslinger at quarterback heading into 2023. In 19 career games at Texas Tech from 2018-20, Bowman threw for 5,260 yards and 33 touchdowns with 17 interceptions while completing 67% of his attempts. If he can clean up the turnovers and work within the framework of Kasey Dunn’s offense, the Cowboys’ offense could be dangerous in 2023.

Two Quotes

• Bummer – Lindy Waters is an unrestricted free agent after two years with the OKC Thunder.

• No Pac-12 expansion/tv contract updates after their meeting yesterday, poor San Diego State getting their hopes up:

One Question

• In honor of the NBA free agency opening last night, which player left in the NCAA (football) transfer portal would you add for OSU? I’d take any of the four linemen in the top eleven.

Most Viewed of the Week

Most intriguing teams post-NBA draft

Gosh I’m a big Ernie Johnson fan, equally talented and humble.
