• Pokes won their first game on their trip to Puerto Rico Sunday night (PFB)

• In December, the Cowboys and Cowgirls will play OU back-to-back in basketball in OKC (PFB)

• David Taylor announced over the weekend that OSU will play host to wrestling athletes from the Army moving forward:

“Stillwater is the new home for the Army WCAP wrestling program,” he said. “The Army World Class Athlete Program is a program where you join the Army, you get the benefits of being in the Army. It’s a non-deployable unit, where your job is to wrestle.

“First, you serve your country. You build a career. And you do so while pursuing world and Olympic medals. I think that combination is so special.” [GoPokes 247]
